Tile Coffee Table
The idea of using coasters or worrying about spills on a table specifically for drinks feels wrong to me, so I clad this plywood coffee table in tile and silicone caulk for waterproofing and easy cleanup. There's a cubby underneath to keep a cushion that makes it a more comfortable footrest, and it sits on short plastic legs that allow it to glide easily on a carpeted surface.
Made with recycled tile and birch plywood.
