Night Vision
I collaborated with a software engineer to design and build a working infrared night vision headset using accessible, off-the-shelf parts. To create this piece I utilized my knowledge of electronics and optics; I also learned a lot about building highly detailed CAD models and designing complex part layouts in 3D.
The 3D-printed PLA enclosure houses an IR lamp, camera module, Raspberry Pi Zero, display, lens, battery, and power switch, with a laser-cut front plate. The headband is elastic with tri-glides for adjustment.
